Samantha Fox Hollander is a Licensed Clinical Master of Social Work (LCSW) and a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager (C-ASWCM). She is recognized as a Geriatric Care Manager and is a member of the Aging Life Care Association™.

Samantha graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology from Towson University. She was awarded a full scholarship to Hunter College School of Social Work and earned a Master's Degree in Social Work with a focus in health and aging. She believes that people are capable of thriving regardless of age or challenge if given the proper support and tools. She is committed to helping people with disabilities and older adults live safer lives, in their own homes, while engaging in activities they love. She has been a Geriatric Care Manager in New York City for over 12 years and has helped over 300 people spend the remainder of their lives with dignity and respect. Samantha is the owner of Samantha Fox Care Consulting, LCSW, PLLC, a care management and consulting firm based in NYC.

Samantha was also a researcher in the field of unmet needs amongst older adult and home care issues, conducting research from grants funded by the Department for the Aging (DFTA). She has also spoken on a number of topics related to aging.

Samantha lives in NYC with her husband and three children.

Mariel Rothenberg, LCSW joined Samantha Fox Care Consulting in 2016. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at George Mason University in Virginia and received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus in Gerontology and Palliative care from Yeshiva University. Mariel became skilled in evaluating needs within the household through conducting home visits to clients with mental illness.

Through her work to decrease the emotional burden for cancer patients, their families and the bereaved, Mariel became skilled at evaluating needs within the household for both safety and ease. Mariel consistently encourages storytelling as she believes it fosters adaptive coping within the aging process. Mariel's main goal is to keep her clients in their homes so they can age with comfort and dignity.

Dana Harsanyi, LMSW joined Samantha Fox Care Consulting in 2017. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at SUNY Old Westbury in New York and received her Master's degree in Social Work at New York University. Dana became skilled in best practices for the aging population who experience Alzheimer's and medical frailty when she was the Director of Social Work at University Nursing Home in the Bronx, NY. Dana also lead the dialysis unit and created safe care plans for adults experiencing significant deteriorating health and challenges that arise.

Dana's specialty is facilitating home visits to increase and ensure household safety in tandem with putting into effect the services which will reduce the likelihood of re-hospitalization for her clients. Dana's commitment to assisting geriatric, disabled and vulnerable populations to thrive propelled her to recently achieve a post-baccalaureate certificate in Care Management from Alfred University in NY. With passion and empathy, Dana encourages her clients to thrive in their households, age peacefully and maintain control of their lives.

Elizabeth Levine, LMSW joined Samantha Fox Care Consulting in 2018. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Human Services at SUNY New Paltz and a Master's degree in Social Work at Lehman College. She is also a graduate of the NY Community Trust Leadership Fellows program at Baruch College. Elizabeth is a practicing psychotherapist who values person-centered and strength based care.

She has over 10 years of experience working with older adults and their families, an expertise regarding caregiver support, hoarding, administrative leadership and successfully engaging with the Alzheimer's and Dementia populations. Her experience within New York City's aging network built competence as a Geriatric Care Manager in the facilitation of leading support groups for caregivers, risk assessment in home visits, care planning, and public benefits access. Elizabeth is committed to ensuring that the voices of older adults are heard and that their needs are met.

Nancy Bacher, LCSW joined Samantha Fox Care Consulting in 2021. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University.

Prior to joining the team, Nancy worked at Mount Sinai Visiting Doctor’s Program navigating the complex health care system to arrange for life-saving benefits, thoughtful care planning and personalized therapeutic interventions. She has navigated policy disruptions, economic issues, and emotional barriers preventing patient access to appropriate care.

At Mount Sinai Hospital, Nancy was also an educator at the Icahn School of Medicine where she taught first year medical students the social aspects of the patient:doctor relationship in order to improve outcomes and increase warmth and approachability for a vulnerable adult.
Nancy focuses on easing the stress of managing illness so that patients and loved ones can focus on other issues necessary for a family to function. Nancy is also a practicing solution focused therapist for patients with complicated medical issues in need of psychotherapy.
Nancy taught yoga and meditation for several years and has been a volunteer with the Sloan Kettering Patient and Family Advisory board for 10 years. She lives in NYC with her husband, teenage daughter, and their Siberian Husky Marcus, who is working to become a certified therapy dog.

Tatiana Lloyd-Dotta, MSW joined Samantha Fox Care Consulting in 2022. Following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies at UCLA, Tatiana spent two years focused on community research and organizing to better understand the aging population at their core foundation. Her studies and accomplishments specialized in facilitating challenging conversations between community members and local government officials. Tatiana earned a Master's degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Fordham University She was a part of the Fordham Hartford Partnership Program and earned the Aging Education Award.

Tatiana has always felt strongly about advocating for, and working alongside the geriatric population; this calling peaked at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic. As a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in her hometown of San Diego, she was able to help those who were aging and alone during their most vulnerable moments. She remains devoted and anchored in ending social isolation and loneliness, and enabling wellness and dignity as core pillars of care for aging adults.

Shara Holzberg joined Samantha Fox Care in 2023. With over 15 years of experience working with people who have neurological, neuromuscular and cognitive illnesses, her passion is helping aging adults maintain their voice, expression and fostering advocacy of their desires.

Shara received dual BS degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and Psychology from Towson University and her MS degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from William Paterson University.

She spent 11 years in the Neurology Department at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, where she hones in on and elevated her clinical and research skills. Through this experience with medically complex neurological illness, Shara became skilled at creating safe, comfortable, multi-disciplinary home care plans for adults experiencing significant deteriorating health.

Shara has been active within the ALS and Alzheimer’s disease communities since 2005 and has been interested in clinical research and drug development for management of these illness since 2014.

Shara’s main goal is to keep her clients at home and help ease client and caregiver burdens that come with managing illness and change.
